From here, the water flows from the roof and into channels in the pergola framework.
Once in the horizontal framework, the rainwater will then flow into the inside of the hollow pergola legs and vertically out to the ground via a small opening at the base of each post leg.
This genius system means that you'll never see the water draining off of the pergola.

Please note that paving slabs alone are sometimes not suitable for fixing as they could lift in windy weather.
These type of pergolas should be built on level ground to ensure proper functioning of Louvre Panels and Drop Side Blinds.
