The privacy screens add extra protection from sunlight and rain.
Made from Textilene, the screens are sold separately - you can add as many screens as you need.
The sprung loaded cassete housing will pull up the screen with ease, a sturdy hand pull bar is located on the bottom of the screen, this is weighted to give perfect weight and pull balance, making it very simple to operate. 
The side screens will keep out wind and rain, they will keep out mosquitos and also protect you from harmful ultra violet rays, Simply pull down the screen and stop at yopur desired height, they are ballanced so will hold at whatever point you choose, but please be aware, they are not designed to be left down when the pergola is not in use. ie: left down during winter months or while on your hollidays.
Take note that your warranty is void if the screens were left down and wind levels exceed the manaufactures  impact tests, faults like this will be easly tracable for the merchant to spot the cause.
