Our background is in garden leisure — not retail trends.

Garden Furniture Department was established by industry professionals who saw first-hand how outdoor furniture was failing in real British conditions. Products often looked good in showrooms, but didn’t last outdoors: cushions faded, fabrics held moisture, frames weakened, and covers became a constant frustration.

We believed outdoor furniture should be designed for living outside — not storing away.

From the outset, our focus has been on durable materials, practical engineering, and products that perform year after year. Frames were strengthened, fabrics upgraded for UV and moisture resistance, and cushion construction redesigned to dry quickly rather than retain water.

The result is outdoor furniture that can remain in place throughout the seasons, requiring minimal maintenance while retaining its appearance and comfort over time.

As the business evolved, we applied the same principles to garden structures. Our pergolas and gazebos were developed with the same attention to real-world use: solid construction, clean design, and components engineered for longevity rather than short-term fashion.
